Every day our brains are playing a soundtrack. At times it’s our favorite jam, while other times it can be nothing but a cycle of shame and insecurity. There are many factors that play into the soundtrack: relationships, mental health, ADHD, a lack of confidence at work and more. The real question is, if we know these negative soundtracks will play, how can we hit the “Next” button before they cause us to spiral. During this session, we’ll dive into what soundtracks we play in our heads and how to stick to the tunes that help us, not hurt us.
Learning Objectives:
1. Demonstrate strategies to decrease negative self talk.
2. Demonstrate how to help decrease anxiety by using curiosity.
3. Identify how job-related mental health concerns such as PTSD impact our negative thoughts.
