This session explores the impact that drones have had on emergency communication centers (ECC) and frontline responders through examples of real-world operations presented by drone operators. The discussion will highlight how real-time imagery and data connect dispatchers and responders, as well as the role of FirstNet in facilitating communication from ECCs to dispatched teams. Speakers will delve into Drones as a First Responder (DFR) programs, the enabling technology, personnel within the ECC, and the profound impact of these programs on operational efficiency and response effectiveness.
