Samuel Jones is a seasoned law enforcement officer with over thirteen years of dedicated service in the Metro Atlanta area. Currently, he serves as Sergeant at the Brookhaven Georgia Police Department, where he supervises the day-to-day operations of the department's Uncrewed Aircraft System (UAS) Unit. Samuel is fundamental in managing the department’s Drone as First Responder program, overseeing both day-to-day operations and a team of eleven pilots.
An original member of the department's UAS unit at its inception in 2021, Samuel has been instrumental in shaping its strategic direction and integrating drone technology into public safety operations. His efforts have not only enhanced the capabilities of the Brookhaven Police Department but also improved community safety and operational efficiency.
Prior to his current role, Samuel amassed experience across various facets of law enforcement including patrol, traffic enforcement, accident reconstruction, investigations, training, and hiring. His comprehensive skill set has profoundly impacted his approach to law enforcement technology and team management.
