Shawn Gaither

Director of Communications
Nelson County E-911 Center

Shawn Gaither has been part of public safety for the last twenty-four years, and his current role in public safety is the Director for Nelson County E-911 Center. He has been in this role for the over 3 years. Shawn completed his CMCP in September 2023 and RPL in June 2024. His prior years’ experience includes working as a telecommunicator for over 6 years for the Lebanon Police Department in Marion County, Ky. Before changing careers, he worked at a private prison for thirteen years, and came up through the ranks with his final position being the Training Manager during the final five years.
