The promise of Next Generation 9-1-1 has been shouted from the rooftop for so many years it's hard to remember 9-1-1 without the "NG" part. But what has come to fruition? Why haven't telecommunicators experienced integrated new technologies with their promise of expanded situational awareness, improved efficiencies, ease of use and workload decretion? Are those possibilities real or imagined? And if they can happen, why aren't they here yet? This tongue-in-cheek presentation will talk about what 9-1-1 professionals should get from technological advancement and try to figure out how we can get there.
