CTA will use their 30+ years of experience in implementing public safety radio systems to discuss how to procure/implement a radio system that is affordable and meets the needs of your public safety radio users. We will start with a discussion of needs assessments and RFP writing to detail the process of crafting detailed specifications for your next radio system and will walk you through the procurement process and contract negotiations. Finally we will discuss the implementation including detailed design review (DDR); staging, physical facilities and tower site construction; field acceptance testing; and cutover to help you prepare for your next generation P25 radio system.
