Coverage testing should be performed as part of P25 Radio System Acceptance. In this presentation, we will discuss lessons learned from coverage testing such as: including coverage testing as part of the radio system contract; planning coverage testing; developing a written coverage test plan; personnel and vehicles needed ; equipment set up and calibration; training participants to perform DAQ testing; and receiving/analyzing all test data. Upon the completion of coverage testing, you should be confident your system will perform as contracted.
