Benjamin W. Collins is the 911 Emergency Communications Branch Chief at Fort Stewart / Hunter Army Airfield (HAAF) Emergency Communications Center (ECC). He previously served as the Operations Supervisor at the ECC Defense Logistics in Columbus, Ohio and a public safety dispatcher and lead dispatcher at Fort Stewart / HAAF ECC. He has more than 20 years of experience and has completed more than 2,000 training hours of public safety related training, including APCO Public Safety Telecommunicator, Department of Defense Firefighter Certification System Hazardous Materials Awareness, Georgia Crisis Intervention Officer, and Stress Identification and Management, among others. Benjamin currently serves as the South East Georgia Region 5 Director of National Emergency Number Association Georgia Chapter.
