Samantha began her career as a PST in 2006. She has spent her entire career at the Hernando County Sheriff's Office where she is in her current role of Training Supervisor. She has helped agencies across the state with creating and maintaining training curriculum as well as creating and maintaining her own agency training programs. Her passion is Training, legislative matters and leadership development. Upon taking on her current role she has played a significant role in nurturing her communications center from 30 percent staffing to almost completely staffed in less than 2 years (and retaining!). She is currently on the Florida APCO Board and co-chair of the ProCHRT committee as well as on the APCO Int Awards Committee. She prides herself in leadership development skills and the ability to teach others.
