Manager Amy Tuff initially started her career in the Collier County Sheriff's Office in 2006 as a high school junior as a student clerk. In 2012 after graduating with her Bachelor's Degree from Florida State University, Manager Tuff returned to the Sheriff's Office as a dispatcher. Manager Tuff worked as a dispatcher becoming proficient in all disciplines for nearly 7 years before transferring to the Training Coordinator position. Manager Tuff made instrumental changes to the Communications Training Program ultimately making a large impact on both trainee success and retention. In March 2022, Manager Tuff was promoted to Operations Manager overseeing 8 shift supervisors, 65+ floor members and the day to day operations of the Communications Center. Manager Tuff is passionate about training, ongoing education, and maintaining employee satisfaction. Manager Tuff is currently working towards her Masters Degree in Public Administration.
