Justin Carnagey

Texas County (Oklahoma) 9-1-1 Trust Authority

Justin Carnagey started his career as a dispatcher/jailer for the Texas County Oklahoma sheriff’s Office in 1989. He has served as a police officer in Goodwell, Oklahoma; executive director of the Oklahoma Economic Development Authority; and emergency manager for the town of Goodwell, among other positions. In 2012, he was appointed 9-1-1 coordinator over the two PSAPs in Texas County and facilitated the structuring of a new trust authority. In 2019, he was named director of the new agency, the Texas County 9-1-1 Trust Authority. He continues to provide the GIS and addressing for Texas County 9-1-1 as well. Justin is a member of NENA and APCO and currently serves as the Northwest Oklahoma representative for the Oklahoma chapter of APCO.
