Michael Dunkwu is the Regional Sales Manager for Hexagon in the Mid-Atlantic region. With more than 20 years’ experience in public safety, he started his career in 2002 with the US Air Force before joining the Alexandria Police Department in 2006 and working his way to the rank of Sergeant and in command of the mobile computers section. Michael also became a certified police dispatcher during this time in Alexandria.
He has a great passion for leadership, empathy, and technology that leads him to his current role as Regional Sales Manager for Hexagon.
He has helped agencies modernize Computer Dispatch and Records Management Systems in large and small agencies across the country. Michael’s operations background coupled with his technical expertise, positions him to perfectly help agencies find modern solutions and plan for future innovation.

Michael has attended George Washington University and is a graduate of the Air Force Leadership School, FBI LEEDA, Advance Hostage Negotiations, and a Virginia general instructor.
