DAS Coordinator
Puget Sound Emergency Radio Network
Kent, Washington
I have changed the light bulb at the top of an 1180' broadcast tower in southeast Nebraska, helped migrate all public safety DAS in King County (800 and counting!), and installed 802.11n wireless coverage in a dairy barn for the cows. No, I'm serious. Ask me about it!. Technologies and scope change but I am resilient through my ability to learn and adapt.
In the same way as I have grown professionally, I have taken the time and opportunity to grow personally through travel. I have lived and volunteered for a total of 30 months in Mexico, Argentina, and France. More than ever, my value and passion as an employee are expressed through building strong relationships between clients, partners, and coworkers.
My opportunity at PSERN is a culmination of the lessons I have learned through more than a decade in the field of radio, combined with the project management skills gained both on the job and through achieving the PMP certification. I relish the chance to serve the community of King County, a place that has given me so much.
