Patrice Coleman has dedicated her career in public-safety communications to Nashville’s Department of Emergency Communications and serves as an Assistant Director. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and an MBA, along with the designations of CPE, RPL, ENP, and CMCP. Patrice serves on APCO's Editorial Committee and is the 2024 -2025 president of the Tennessee APCO Board. She co-facilitates Metro Nashville's conscious inclusion course for the city's personnel and is a Crisis Intervention Team trainer for public-safety telecommunicators. Moving through life with a greater purpose in mind, Patrice volunteers with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and serves on the Tennessee Board of Directors as Board Secretary and Co-Chair of the Education Committee.
