This presentation focuses on providing nearby AED locations to 911 callers during cardiac arrest call processing via APCO IntelliComm® and the PulsePoint-hosted Emergency AED Registry. When a caller contacts a communication center and reports a likely cardiac arrest, getting CPR started and sourcing a nearby AED are both critical actions to initiate without delay. The capability to provide both telecommunicator CPR (T-CPR) and nearby AED locations (T-AED) is readily available today.
